Aloha.... just returned home from Quidam by Cirque de Solei....it was simply fabulous....wonderful stunts, captivating sound track and oh...it was well worth every cent. Go actch it if u can.... Just a pity we cant snap fotos in there... but here's a lil preview anyway...

Weekends are here again. Finally. Yesterday was good. one of the best Fridays I 've had in a long time. Partly with the knowledge that Am not working today so its a pretty good start. Went back home to drive to mel's party at Lor Realty Park. which is pretty close to my old hse.

Picked dear up and then headed down to Hougang to pick hl up... a little miscommunication had me waiting at Hougang Plaza while he waitred at Hougang Mall.... Now now Hougang is one confusing place. first there's the Hougang Mall and Hougang Plaza baarely a stone's throw away.....Bound to creeat confusion and chaos.....Thats' somehting the Hougangers need to learn from us Easterners....Take Tampines Mall for instance with 2 major complexes co-existing side by side, U dun see one building called tampines mall and the other called Tampines plaza do u?

That's besides the point though. So ended up at mel;s party and then after tt we headed down to Mustafa centre!!!! whoopie and got my self a new pair of jeans for 19.50!!!! hahaha yeapz its for work purposes . then we headed down to desker road....hmmm need i say more?

Thursday...

The weekends are fast approaching i hope.....saturday might not haf to work after all whoopie. thank god. I've had enaff of work. It aint tt bad working at a construction site afterall...u get to make many friends of all races , nationality ages....but erm only one sex.

Anothe main con came over to chat with me abt life... told me he worked at foster wheeler for 30 years now.... he came from malaysia....at age 27 he started some business and made over 3 million dollars... haha but due to the damn stock market blah blah the contractos couldnt pay him the money etc.. poor guy. nice old chap.

And then there was this Briton....some Pfizer guy who is very ngeow and speaks with a very heavy accent....and who swears by " WADAFARK?" yes no spacebars.....HE WADAFARK HERE AND WADAFARK THERE yes its very catchy i know

From wat i gathered from the various contractors they dun like this project cos they earning almost peanuts... Pfizer maybe rich but a stingy bunch. my roommate refuses to gif me a break.. his drilling a bridge ....

Monday...

Yes its another Monday ... countless Mondays have come and gone. Today was no different. There comes a point where U begin to get immune to Mondays....Hell it was a boring day...Had too many lalas the day before which led to a whole nite of diarrhoea...it wasnt easy...My ass is starting to smart from the constant wiping of shit with the not so smooth toilet paper.

So I reached the site and first thing tt my ears heard was " Mr Lau can u call the Honeywell guys up to fix the damper.." That isnt one thing that i wanna hear. No way. Damn Accent Engineering and CMD pple pls get ur freaking facts right before you start pointing fingers again... go ahead go complain to my boss....haha and thanks for complaingin Boss has decided that me n Kenneth shld take a cab to work from boon lay every mornging.. whoopie no more bus 182.... only catch we gotta reach the workplace earlier...

So I scaled the 10 storeys of neverending stairs and finally reached the summit..plugged in my cpu and there was the exhaust damper...in big bold letters OPEN....i flashed it to Andy of CMD....i felt like smacking his face... make me climb all the way up to open the damper when its aldy open...piece of shit he is. I am sure u will agree.

Then there was RI inspection at 3... whihc is quite a big thing whole day long i have our main contractors keeping patting my shoulders telling us not to screw up... cos if we screw up and fail the inspection the building cant attain TOP. Like i care....

It went on pretty smoothly until the accent engineering and CMd pple stormed into the Motor Control Room where i was in conversation with 3 banglas...and they were like pissed off at me... yelling at me why the air flow is so slow.... i shrugged my shoulders to show tt i dun gif a shit..

Turns out that it was aldy running at full speed those idiots...i wonder if they really studied in uni before...I told the bangla i graduated in mechanical he laffed till his jaw touched the ground....yes yes laff.

todays conversationg with the bangla was interesting... he comes from india... so maybe shld stop calling him bangla... haha and he tells me he not married yet... and cant find a gf... he says in India they still observe arranged marriages... so the mama n papa will seek the wife for him ... wah... and one wedding can see more than a thousand guests... haha...I asked if he ever wanted to marry in Singapore... he says no... haha the culture is very different.. In India is much beter haha .

Thursday.

Oh yeah another has passed which makes the weekend so much nearer... haha started betting on Ladbrokes... made a small fortune last nite... thank you France for winning and not scoring more than 2 goals. haha haolun haolun haolun....forget the Singapore pools la....muahahha.

Yeah work was alrite today. pretty shag . Had to ..... and .... and ... yeah its pretty repetitive so aint worth mentioning all over agin day in day out. Oh ya and guess what the GM Nick Howells approached me haha and i tot " oh no not another scolding..." but alas... he asked me to get a t shirt and lucky draw coupon for tmw is Foster Wheeler celebrating 500 000 safe man hours... whoopie they giving handfones, mp3 players etc.... and free lunch.... yeah best thing is no need to work from 1130-1 pm hahah great...may not sound tt great to you guys but this break is much needed by poor me.

Oh yeah...weekends faster come and go slower...
